Job Description

As a Production Technician, you will identify trends, conduct periodic analyses of equipment and machine issues, make necessary adjustments to manufacturing equipment, diagnose root causes, and implement corrective actions.

This role collaborates closely with Operators, Operations Technicians, Production Supervisors, Manufacturing Engineers, and Leadership to ensure optimal equipment performance and operational efficiency.

Principal responsibilities of the Production Technician

Facilitate collaboration between operations and engineering to optimize processesManage spare parts inventory, enhance preventative maintenance strategies, and maintain updated process parametersIdentify and implement best practices by standardizing knowledge and available dataEnsure compliance with plant safety and environmental policies while maintaining a clean and organized workspaceUtilize key plant systems such as SAP, MES, OPCON, Promaster, and Tableau for efficient operationsLeverage international production networks and Bosch resources as neededDiagnose and resolve equipment-related electrical issues to ensure operational efficiency

Qualifications

Required Qualifications
 

Strong background in electrical/electronics, including hands-on experience with PLCs, drive systems, and related technologies2+ years of experience in manufacturing assembly or machining.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to supervisors and colleagues, including writing precise technical instructionsAbility to thrive in a noisy, fast-paced environmentSelf-motivated and proactive approach to tasksEssential skills: Mechanical proficiency, leadership, and teamwork.Flexibility to work overtime as needed, including weekendsMechatronics training - preferred
