Job Description

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for identifying trends, periodically analyzing equipment/machine problems, performing necessary adjustments on manufacturing equipment, identifying root causes, and initiating corrective actions as needed. This position interacts with Operators, Operations Technicians, Specialized Technicians, Manufacturing Engineers and Leadership

Principal Responsibilities (*denotes essential functions as defined by ADA)

Coordinate efforts between operations and engineering functionsSet up spare parts, optimize preventative maintenance, keep process parameters updatedIdentify best practices and create standards combining available information & knowledgeFollow plant safety and environmental policies and keep work areas clean and orderlyUtilize plant systems e.g. SAP, MES, OPCON, Promaster, Tableau, etc.Utilize International Production Network from other Bosch resources where necessaryTrouble-shooting equipment-related electrical issues

QualificationsMust have a High School Diploma or GED equivalentMust be at least 18 years or olderMinimum two years of experience in manufacturing assembly or machiningMechatronics training preferredBasic knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, print-reading and mechanicsElectrical/electronics background, working with PLCs, drive systems, cabinets, etc.Ability to service and maintain production robotic systemsFamiliarity with CNC machines (drives, axes, etc.)Knowledge of SAP work order/spare parts systemMust be able to communicate effectively with supervision and other personnel with the ability to create clear technical instructionsFamiliar with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel)Must be able to function in a noisy and fast paced environmentDemonstrates self-initiativeMust demonstrate mechanical proficiency, leadership ability, and teamworkMust be willing to work on alternate shifts and must demonstrate the ability to adapt to changesMust be flexible to work other shifts for training, coaching, projects and travel as needed

Specialized Knowledge

Detailed knowledge of Staubli and Omron robots, vision systems, Trumpf lasers, and ProfibusRexroth Torque System knowledge/troubleshootingCab printer knowledgeCognex Vision System knowledgeNeuroCheck Vision System knowledgePress/Staking Process knowledgeKnowledge of heat treat or chroming operations is a plus
