Adecco is currently hiring for a **Production Technician – Compounder** in **Valley Cottage, NY** ! Our client been in business since 1965 manufacturing and distributing high-temperature adhesives, coatings, potting compounds, and technical ceramics for distribution across many different industries. If you are a reliable and motivated worker, you may be great for the role! Location: Valley Cottage, NY Schedule: Monday – Friday 8 AM – 4:30 PM Start Date: ASAP Pay Rate: $20 - $23 hr. Temp-to-hire for the right person! Responsibilities include: + Perform safety checks and preparation prior to production. + Mix and prepare batches according to the specifications outlined in the batching sheets. + Maintain cleanliness of equipment, containers, and workspaces. + Weigh and transport raw materials from storage to the production area. + Monitor batches, and run various mixers, blenders, and pumps. + Ensure batches meet manufacturing standards. + Maintain daily professional working relationships with department employees, managers, and supervisors. + Collaborate professionally with employees, supervisors, and managers. Qualifications: + **Ability to read, write, and speak English** and perform baric arithmetic. + Reliable transportation & Good Attendance. + **At least 1 year of experience in chemical production or compounding.** + Ability to lift up to 65 lbs. and stand for prolonged periods of time.
