As a Production Technician, you will have key responsibilities supporting manufacturing operations either in the manufacturing, packaging, and/or product labeling areas. You will set up and operate a variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines used in the production of the company's product. You will work from process sheets or written/verbal instructions given by supervisor to perform production tasks. You will also check and inspect operation against predetermined tolerances. You will provide support to an area, person, or program. Interface with internal customers. Perform semi-routine support duties of a specialized nature within an assigned area.

You will also be responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the quality system and achieving quality objectives through daily actions.

The opportunity

You are setting up & operating equipment and processing materials & packaging kits in accordance with standard operating procedures.

You are Inspecting products and components to verify completeness of the final device and product information is precise and legible. Inspecting product for quality and adherence to specifications.

You are ensuring full compliance with both GMP and housekeeping standards within packaging area.

You are participating in trouble-shooting and problem solving associated with packaging process.

You are completing and ensuring accuracy of all process orders and associated required documentation, records, and metrics.

Who you ar

You hold a High School Diploma or equivalency.

Preferred Requirements

Basic computer skills with competency using standard software packages

Thorough understanding of appropriate safety procedures

Detail oriented

1 year of related experience in production or manufacturing assembly in a regulated industry, and applications of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ISO

Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. occasionally

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indianapolis, IN is $34,400.00 - $64,000.00 USD Annual.  Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.  A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.  This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
