Basic Qualifications:
Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution. Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. Green Card Holder), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
Preferred Qualifications:
Machinist certification preferred CNC machining experience preferred 1+ years of manufacturing experience 1+ years of experience operating mobile equipment 1+ years of experience using hand tools, power tools, and other related equipmentPhysical Requirements:
Continuously required to wear common Protective or Safety Equipment such as Safety Shoes, Glasses, Gloves, Hearing Protection, Hard Hats.
Ability to use computers.
Ability to read and understand written work instructions.
Ability to hear and understand verbal instructions.
Continuously required for the full shift to stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
The ability to raise/lower an object up to 50 lbs independently with control by reaching near floor, knee, waist, or chest levels; and above 50 lbs with support from other team members, tools and equipment to ensure safety.
The ability to keep or regain balance or remain upright when walking on varying surfaces.
The ability to make precisely coordinated movements with fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, place or assemble.

We have immediate openings for Production Trainees for our Machining Department for Night Shift. Must be able to work Night Shift + Overtime.
Night shift is Monday-Thursday: 8pm - 6am.
Pay rate is based on experience. Experienced CNC Machine Shop Operators may be eligible for a higher starting rate depending on years of experience.
Production Trainees will see a pay increase after receiving level 1 qualifications (within 3 ½ - 6 months depending on candidate training). Candidates will be subject to a 90-day probationary and training period.
Our Savannah Operations is a heavy industrial forging manufacturing plant located in Midway, Georgia, employs approximately 170 people and is poised for growth!
Candidates will perform a variety of tasks including the following: setting up and operating equipment for machining and inspections, operating hand tools, and other related general manufacturing work.
