**Position Description** **:**
A Trimmer Operator can be assigned to the Production Area as a Knife Operator or Trimmer Operator. The operator will need to perform and understand the following:
+ Understand machine safety and safety switches
+ Understand machine controls
+ Understand acceptable output of machine (product specification)
+ Perform pre-start up analysis and maintain daily activity log
+ Identify machine malfunctions and notify management
+ Understand and maintain product flow and procedures
+ Understand customer’s trim specifications and sub primals
+ Make product change adjustments
+ Maintain labor standards and pace
+ Good Meat cutting skills for both Beef and Pork products
+ Good knife sharpening skills
+ Knowledge of various cuts/styles for Beef and Pork products
+ Excellent communication skills
+ Knowledge of production equipment
+ Must be able to lift 5+ pounds
+ Monitor and program metal detector and document performance
+ Understand Food Safety, GMP, SSOP requirements

+ Constant walking and or standing
+ Use of hands to fingers
+ Feel objects
+ Reach with hands and arms
+ Lift, push, pull 5lb to 10lb
+ Vision capabilities

+ Standing for prolonged periods of time
+ Uneven walking surfaces and slippery floors

Hourly Pay $21.50
