Production Unit Lead
This opportunity provides:
Support to multiple squads within a designated unit to deliver specific manufacturing outcomes designed to support the overall Row Crop site mission;responsibility for filling the role of Visionary, Architect, Catalysts, and Coach for assigned unit; and leadership support of Units and Squads for their area of responsibility and facilitate alignment with other teams onsite and off.

What you will do:
Foster collaboration in a flat network of autonomous entrepreneurial teams called squads Support Unit and Squad’s focus on mission to deliver beneficial outcomes for all team members, customers, and stakeholders Support the co-creation of value by flowing resources and expertise to support the development and delivery of the best product and customer experience Inspire the development, exploration, and execution of creative ideas in rapid cycles Support squads needs to run daily production activities, enable them to execute daily production schedule to deliver the best customer experienceBe an escalation point for tasks and projects prioritization, problem solving continuous improvement, conflict resolution, displaying leadership behaviors and prioritizing the squad's self-organization first Optimize squad member’s performance and development through empowerment and DSO principles, displaying leadership behaviors, coaching, providing feedbackSponsor one management system and leverage other stakeholders and experts outside of the teamProvide close connection with other Unit Leads on and off site, supporting squad members to ensure the Unit members receive the support/resources they need to be successful Promote fluid talent and resource unitization within the Unit, being outcome orientedEnsure Unit compliance while empowering the squads as much as possible Model leadership behaviors; Facilitating, the co-creation of a shared vision and higher purpose that resonate with customers:design, evolve and integrate the way we work; be a catalyst of change by removing obstacles and connecting different part of the system; andhelp employees develop capabilities and mindsets to thrive and foster inclusion and empowermentMonitor site P&L and provide assistance to teams as they ensure balance and alignment
Who you are:
BS in either agriculture, engineering disciplines, Supply Chain Management or related degree with at least 5 years of related experience; Or a High School Diploma with 8/+ years of related experience 5/+ years' experience in managing and developing teamsLeadership experience in manufacturing or supply chain Experience in managing and developing teamsSkilled at leading, managing conflict and negotiating with cross-functional teamsBasic user knowledge of standard computer programs (Internet, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, tablets/smart devices) Valid drivers’ license (in order to be eligible to drive a company car, your driving record must meet guidelines based on the company’s risk screening for hiring drivers – Motor Vehicle Record will be reviewed as part of pre-employment screening) Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons or when business needs require it Able to be on call in case of emergency, to support 24/7 shifts
