GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
The FleetPride Production Warehouse Associate is responsible for all material handling within the manufacturing warehouse. This includes staging orders for production, shipping, and receiving. In addition, the Production Warehouse Associate is responsible for scheduling inbound and outbound shipments, including, but not limited to, planning the delivery of shipments to filing the completed paperwork. Additional responsibilities include cycle counting.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Pull and organize branch and customer orders for delivery from warehouse by part number and quantity as directed by picking ticket in priority assigned.
Follow all shipping and receiving SOP procedures.
Manually load or unload materials onto or off pallets, skids, platforms, or lifting devices.
Stock and maintain inventory items in designated warehouse storage areas.
Weigh materials or products and record weight and other production data on tags and labels.
Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
Ensure deliveries and shipments are handled safely.
Ensure inventory is stored safely. All pallets above second level need to be boxed, banded, or shrink wrapped.
Ensure all outbound products are packaged with all paperwork securely attached.
Ensure outbound product is packaged so that it will arrive to the customer in its original condition.
Ensure inbound products are received accurately and efficiently. The product received should be clearly labeled with the FleetPride part number.
Ensure all shipping and receiving paperwork is properly filled out and filed.
Enters, verifies, maintains, and corrects shipping, receiving, and inventory data.
Uses Microsoft Office programs, Google programs, Warehouse Management System (JDA) programs, order management systems, and various web applications.
Schedule and maintain the inbound and outbound deliveries using a scheduling program and verify via email and phone with the carriers.
Communicate safety concerns and inventory questions to management.
Maintain an organized work area and warehouse dock
EDUCATION & TRAININGHigh School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 2 years experience in shipping, receiving, shipment auditing, inventory control, and stock replenishment
Forklift and Reach truck experience
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Handling normal stock will include lifting or carrying parts in excess of 60 lbs. up to 15% of the time. The majority of lifting and carrying will involve parts between 5 and 60 lbs.

EQUIPMENT
OSHA-approved steel-toed safety shoes are required from the first day on the job.
