Job details Spherion Staffing has multiple openings for Production Welders. The Welder is responsible to perform welding in the fabrication, repair and maintenance of equipment parts, structures and other items as assigned.

AM Shift Monday - Friday, 6am-4:30pm, $25-29/hour (DOE) + Full Benefits Package ... PM Shift Monday - Thursday, 4pm-4am $25-29/hour (DOE plus $2.00 per hour shift differential) + Full Benefits Package

Responsibilities:
-Perform simple flat and horizontal welds and flat groove welds
-Fit and weld subassemblies with tack or spot weld
-Perform measurements within specified tolerances
-Exhibit knowledge of material identification, equipment utilization and welding equipment set-up and maintenance
-Follow all company safety and quality requirements
-Work on basic manufacturing assignments that have set standards
-Fabricate moderately complex items with close supervision
-Interpret and apply shop drawing information, including weld symbol designations, with limited assistance
-Understand and utilize proper lifting and rigging techniques
-Effectively operate common layout tools
-Problem solve simple and non-complex issues that need little judgement
-Prompt and dependable attendance
-Other duties as assigned

-High School diploma or GED required
-One to two years of welding experience preferred
