Job Description

Wheatland Tube, a division of Zekelman Industries, is seeking a Production Worker for our facility located in Wheatland, PA.

 

RESPONSIBILITES:

Working with hand and/or power equipment in a manufacturing settingWorking in hot and or cold environment around moving equipmentEnsuring proper safety procedures are followedOperating mobile equipment, cranesOperating packing, banding and other production equipmentOther duties as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

Operating packing, banding and other production equipmentOther duties as assigned by managementWorking with hand and/or power equipment in a manufacturing settingWorking in hot and or cold environment around moving equipmentEnsuring proper safety procedures are followedOperating mobile equipment, cranesRegular, full-time, predictable onsite attendance per the posted schedule is an essential function of this roleLead and promote health and safety work practices as required by regulatory agencies and company policy

PHYSICAL ABILITIES:

Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigueConstant movement and use of limbs; This position requires good manual dexterity, coordination and stamina.Must be able to remain in a stationary position for several hoursRegular, full-time, predictable onsite attendance per the posted schedule is an essential function of this roleAbility to lift, climb, bend, stoop, push and pull.Must be able to lift 60lbs.Must be able to stand for 10-12 hoursAbility to perform work in a plant/manufacturing environmentOther physical requirements as needed for job
