**Job Title: Production Worker - 3rd Shift** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Production Worker for our 3rd shift (3pm-11pm) with flexibility to work on Saturdays and Sundays when needed. This role is crucial in maintaining the safety and quality of our food production process. **Responsibilities** + Monitor critical control points to eliminate/reduce potential food safety hazards. + Oversee product food safety and quality throughout the manufacturing process. + Ensure raw materials are staged correctly for batches and appropriate packaging components are used. + Identify all raw material pallets with a Lot Code colored coded sticker. + Perform quality and process checks every 2 hours (+/- 15 minutes) on all production lines. + Ensure baking ovens are properly set to the correct time and temperature. + Verify line clearance performed by Line Supervisors prior to startup of new product lines, including labels, packaging components, and products. + Conduct visual inspections on products, components, and equipment. + Ensure employees follow all Food Safety and worker safety practices. + Monitor employees for GMP compliance, including proper use of hairnets, beard guards, gloves, and white uniforms. + Report discrepancies in product, safety, or other manufacturing issues to Line Supervisor, Product Manager, and/or Quality System Manager immediately. **Essential Skills** + Bi-lingual Spanish for effective communication with production staff. + Positive attitude and pleasant personality. + Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively with diverse populations and personalities. + Professional behavior and emotional control. + Self-motivated and results-oriented approach. + Understanding of principles, practices, and procedures of food manufacturing. + Leadership skills to motivate others and achieve productivity goals. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + No specific educational requirement. + Experience in production, general production, cleanroom, food manufacturing, general labor, inspection, and packaging. + Above average concentration and memory. + Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. **Why Work Here?** Our company is growing in size and scope, offering stability and opportunities for career advancement. **Work Environment** This position is within the Quality Department in a standard food production warehouse environment. You will work near moving equipment and machinery, with exposure to moderate to loud noise levels and fluorescent lighting. Cleanliness and sanitation are mandatory. Shifts typically last 8-12 hours and may occur during the day or night. The production environment includes smells of cookies and other food products. Products manufactured in this facility may contain peanuts and tree nuts. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Brunswick, New Jersey. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
