**Job Title: Production Worker** **Job Description** We are seeking diligent candidates to work in our manufacturing environment, creating quality windows and patio doors. All candidates will be cross-trained in multiple areas within the facility. Responsibilities for this role include: - Double Hung: Involves heavy lifting, repetitive work, and requires the ability to read schedules/labels. - Direct Set: Requires the ability to work independently, learn about different materials and colors, and read paperwork and labels. - CSMT: Role involves using a sash hanger, tape measure and reading schedules. - Patio Door (open): Involves heavier lifting, tape measure use. **Hard Skills** + Experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment (minimum 6 months) + Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16th of an inch + Solid attendance record **Soft Skills** + High attention to detail + Awareness of surroundings + Willingness to ask questions when unsure + Adaptable to cross-training in multiple areas **Job Type** This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 18 Week(s). **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in West Des Moines, Iowa. **Work Environment** Our 1st shift runs from 6am-2:30pm, five days a week. Current schedule involves working 32-40hrs a week, with preparation for busy season where there will be 50hr work weeks and requirement to work 2 Saturdays a month. We operate in a manufacturing environment across three facilities, which are not temperature controlled. Our team size averages around 100 employees per facility.
