Production Worker

Overview:
We are looking for motivated and skilled individuals to join us on a project-by-project basis. This part-time role is perfect for those seeking flexibility in their schedule while applying their expertise to impactful projects within a food processing and packaging environment.  This position is 1st shift, with varying start & end times depending on each project (for example: 7:00am-3:30pm, 7:30am-4:00pm, 8:00am-4:30pm).

Key Responsibilities: Work in a variety of roles in the processing and packaging of chocolate, sweets, mints and other great-tasting snacks. Maintain the highest quality of food safety standards, and sanitation standards. Operate processing or packaging equipment as assigned. Perform various checks to include metal detector, date code and weight system check. Clean and inspect equipment. Observe safety procedures. Observe Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Observe good housekeeping practices. Complete quality checks and associated daily production paperwork as assigned.
