**Job Title: Production Worker**
**Job Description**
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented production worker to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for pulling inventory for the blenders, learning specific types of material, and maintaining accurate inventory records. The role involves measuring and pouring materials, operating various production equipment, and adhering to standard operating procedures. The ideal candidate should be comfortable using hand jacks and open to forklift training in the future.
**Responsibilities**
+ Pull inventory for the blenders.
+ Learn and manage specific types of material and inventory.
+ Measure and pour materials accurately.
+ Keep track of inventory for the shipping clerk.
+ Follow operating instructions and record necessary information accurately.
+ Mix chemicals and operate production equipment such as mixers, milling equipment, scales, and forklifts.
+ Adhere to standard production operating procedures, including production, equipment, inventory, labeling, and FIFO.
**Essential Skills**
+ Basic math skills for measuring and pouring materials.
+ Experience using hand jacks.
+ Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
+ 1 year of production experience.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Flexible work schedule with availability from 7:30 am to 4 pm, Monday to Friday, with some weekends.
+ Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
+ Willingness to be trained on forklift operations.

**Work Environment**
This position operates in a warehouse/production setting. Employees are occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and explosives. Use of respirators may be required in the production area. Standard office equipment and warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, fork trucks, box cutters, and tape dispensers are routinely used. Physical demands include regular use of hands, frequent standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and occasionally sitting and climbing. Employees must be able to lift and move objects weighing up to 33 pounds regularly, up to 55 pounds frequently, and more than 100 pounds occasionally. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Odenton, Maryland.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00
