**Job Title: Production Worker - 1st Shift** **Job Description** We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Production Worker to join our team on the 1st shift. The ideal candidate must be comfortable with consistent heavy lifting, performing repetitive tasks, and working in a warehouse, masonry, or construction environment. Your primary role will involve hand grinding tools to achieve the correct shape and texture, and working on an assembly line handling cinder blocks. **Responsibilities** + Hand grind tools to achieve the correct shape and texture. + Work on an assembly line, taking cinder blocks and placing them on pallets. + Consistently lift 50 pounds (VERY PHYSICAL). + Inspect blocks for blemishes or deformities. + Pick up plastic used to wrap palletized cinder blocks in the yard. + Stand for 9 hours performing repetitive tasks. **Essential Skills** + Experience in a warehouse, masonry, or construction environment. + Comfortable with lifting 50 pounds consistently. + Reliable and punctual. + Attention to detail and ability to count large quantities. + Ability to perform tedious and repetitive tasks. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School Diploma or GED preferred. + Experience with power tools and hand tools is a plus. **Why Work Here?** We offer a supportive team environment with a focus on safety and reliability. The dress code includes steel-toe shoes, jeans (no shorts), and a shirt or long sleeve (no tank tops). Safety gear such as hard hats, safety glasses, ear plugs, and gloves will be provided. The team size in the grinding department is typically around 5 to 6 people.
