**Production Worker** **Job Description** Candidates will be working for a company that manufactures construction barricades. They will be working in a production environment where they will be unloading material, working on a production line, and using hand and power tools as well as air pressure gauges. Once the product is manufactured, they will test to ensure there are no leaks or holes and perform a spray bottle and soap test. Afterward, they will load the product onto a pallet or truck for shipment. Barricades can weigh between 75 to 150 pounds, requiring team lifts for items over 75 pounds. Candidates may also be responsible for organizing inventory and orders. Training and certification on sit-down forklifts will be provided when they go on direct. **Responsibilities** + Unload materials that come in. + Work on a production line using hand and power tools. + Use air pressure gauges for testing products. + Perform a spray bottle and soap test to check for leaks or holes. + Load finished products onto pallets or trucks for shipment. + Organize inventory and orders. + Operate sit-down forklifts after receiving training and certification. **Essential Skills** + Experience with hand and power tools. + Forklift operation experience. + Production experience. + Ability to load and unload trucks. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to work in a team environment. + Flexibility with start and end times. **Why Work Here?** Candidates have the opportunity to move into a driving role upon going direct with the company. The facility has heat but no air conditioning, so it can get warm in the summer. The team consists of about 5 people in a small production environment. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm with a 30-minute lunch, with rare instances of extended hours. Candidates may also need to drive for deliveries or pick-ups when going direct and will need to pass a non-DOT physical. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Glenn Dale, Maryland. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
