Production Worker
**Job Title: Production Labor** **Job Description** This role involves performing routine production tasks, operating specific machinery, and maintaining a safe work environment. You will operate subassembly equipment, coating equipment, ovens, material handling equipment, and other machinery to support production tasks. Additionally, you will perform troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and quality assurance activities to ensure efficient operations. Monitoring, measuring, and recording quality data to maintain quality system requirements are also key components of this role. You will follow safe work practices, maintain a clean work environment, and wear appropriate personal protective equipment. Tracking orders, moving materials, and enabling the production process to flow efficiently and effectively are essential duties. You must comprehend and accurately follow operational instructions and prints for job and setup operations. **Responsibilities** + Operate subassembly equipment, coating equipment, ovens, material handling equipment, and other machinery to support production tasks. + Perform troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and quality assurance activities to ensure efficient operations. + Monitor, measure, and record quality data to maintain quality system requirements. + Follow safe work practices, maintain a clean work environment, and wear appropriate personal protective equipment. + Track orders, move materials, and enable the production process to flow efficiently and effectively. + Comprehend and accurately follow operational instructions and prints for job and setup operations. + Operate press machine to create parts with the use of mold. + Clean and prime parts with appropriate chemicals and solutions. + Measure stock to ensure that it is the correct thickness and length. + Place by hand a variety of materials in mold, on the mandrel, or in the build fixture. + Weigh stock and scrap to be salvaged. + Monitor individual production for bad parts for early defect detection. + Use production equipment and tools, such as calipers and scales, on a regular basis. + Ensure that materials handling recordkeeping is completed according to company and ISO standards. + Follow internal safety policies and procedures at all times. + Maintain work area free of safety hazards and clutter, including area setup and cleanup at the start and end of the shift. + Perform other duties as assigned by the Working or Production Lead, Planner, Production Supervisor, and/or Module Manager. **Essential Skills** + Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. + Ability to read a tape measure. + Skill in using hand tools to fabricate parts. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Combination of relevant education and experience can be considered in lieu of exact education. + Skilled in the use of hand tools including calipers, depth gages, micrometers, and other measuring equipment and machinery. + Attention to detail. + Experience with general labor and assembly. **Why Work Here?** This is a long-term contract opportunity. This includes temperature instability and exposure to atmospheric conditions such as fumes, odors, dusts, mists, gases, or vapors. Additionally, you may be exposed to solvents and other industrial chemicals.
