Production Worker
**Description** All candidates must be IOI via teams or in person. Hours 5am-3:30pm Monday - Friday Driverge Vehicle Innovations works closely with automotive manufacturers to develop innovative vehicle modifications that make transporting people, cargo, and equipment easier, faster, and more efficient. Driverge is the country’s leading builder of wheelchair-accessible vans, shuttles, and transporters. It is a Ford Qualified Vehicle Modifier (QVM), Mercedes-Benz MasterSolutions® Upfitter, and Ram Commercial Q-Pro supplier. Installing wheel chair ramps in transit vans. Lifting up to 50lbs, assembling, use of hand and power tools, reading blueprints. The Production Associate is responsible for work on the production line and keep vehicles moving at a steady pace through final inspection. Flexible and skilled to move a section in front or behind the assigned work area to prevent bottlenecks. • Must have an eye for identifying problems prematurely to completion. • Knowledge and a solid comfort level using a variety of power tools: bandsaws, circular saws, jig saws, routers, solder and soldering irons, micro torches, drills, screw guns, utility knives and air saws. • Ability to work independently as well as, with a team to reach daily goals and keep the production line moving. • Comfortable using a measuring tape. • Knowledgeable reading blueprints preferred. • Must be able to work with chemicals. • Track supplies and equipment notifying manager of inventory levels. • Adapt and learn new areas of the production line or new builds. • Train new hires in your area of responsibility as needed. • Always comply with Driverge’s Core Values (Love It). • Complete other duties as assigned. **Skills** assembly, hand and power tools, blue prints, upfitting **Top Skills Details** assembly,hand and power tools,blue prints,upfitting **Additional Skills & Qualifications** • Able to function capably in a production environment using standard equipment (machine tools, hand tools, measuring devices, etc.). • Able to function capably in a production environment using standard equipment (machine tools, hand tools, measuring devices, etc.). • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
