**Job Title: Trim Tech** **Job Description** As a member of the Trim Tech Team, you will be responsible for performing interior and exterior auto part teardowns and build-ups. **Responsibilities** + Disassemble and organize interior dash and door components, as well as exterior doors, hood, and trim. + Read and follow assembly guidelines as written by OEM service engineers. + Reassemble interior components and ensure proper fit and finish of exterior components such as doors and trim. + Inspect incoming and outgoing vehicles for quality. + Document any additional issues found and inform the Team Leader/Manager in a timely manner. + Maintain a clean work environment. **Essential Skills** + Basic automotive experience (6 months - 1 year). + Ability to use hand tools and power tools. + Own a basic tool set for working with nuts and bolts. + Ability to lift 5-50 pounds throughout the shift. + Reliable attendance. + Positive attitude and willingness to learn. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Mechanical skills. + Repair and preventive maintenance skills. + Troubleshooting and maintenance technician experience. + Blueprint reading ability. + Preferred: Enjoys working on cars at home. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy pay increases based on performance and the opportunity to be cross-trained or moved into different departments, which comes with pay raises as you gain more skills. The environment is very clean, spacious, and comfortable with fans and vents to regulate temperature. Technicians are expected to clean and organize their workstations at the end of each shift. Openings are available on 1st shift (6:00 am - 2:30 pm). **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Troy, Michigan. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $21.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
