Production Worker
**Job Title: Production Worker** **Job Description** This company is a large manufacturing facility that primarily produces magnetic wire. This wire is used across several industries, with a focus on the automotive sector, residential and commercial appliances, energy, and industrial markets. As a production worker, you will be responsible for machine operation, storing finished products in the warehouse, performing quality inspections, and welding. The machines are mostly automated, and you will ensure they operate correctly to meet customer specifications. You will also receive forklift certification, though prior experience is a plus. Forklift operation will constitute about 15% of your job duties. **Responsibilities** + Operate machinery to produce magnetic wire. + Store finished products in the warehouse. + Perform quality inspections on the products. + Ensure machines operate correctly and meet customer specifications. + Operate a forklift for 15% of the time. **Essential Skillsets** + General labor experience. + Machine operation skills. + Quality inspection experience. + Assembly and production experience. + Forklift certification or willingness to be trained. + Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. + Ability to read, write, and understand written work orders in English. **Additional Skillsets for Client & Qualifications** + Ability to work safely and independently. + Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs repetitively. + Willingness to work 12-hour shifts. + Strong tenure at previous employers. + Soft skills and willingness to be trained. **Why Work Here?** This is a career opportunity with significant potential for growth, both financially and professionally. The company is expanding its warehouse and installing new production lines. Shifts are on a 2/2/3 schedule, with 1st shift running from 8 AM to 8 PM and 3rd shift from 8 PM to 8 AM. There are multiple openings on both shifts. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Franklin, Indiana. **Pay** $20.40-21.65/hr **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.40 - $21.65 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
