**Job Title: Production Worker**
**Job Description**
Assist the Line Lead with changeovers and start-ups. Stage and load raw materials while maintaining the integrity of the material, and without interrupting the flow of the raw materials. Assist with auxiliary work such as bagging, drying, grinding, and tooling. Identify tasks that need attention during down times.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assist the Line Lead with changeovers and start-ups.
+ Stage and load raw materials while maintaining their integrity and ensuring a smooth flow.
+ Assist with auxiliary tasks including bagging, drying, grinding, and tooling.
+ Identify and complete tasks during down times to maintain productivity.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience with hand tools and power tools.
+ Mechanical aptitude and mechanically inclined.
+ Basic math skills.
+ Experience with machine operation and troubleshooting.
+ Ability to operate an extrusion machine.
+ General production and assembly experience.
+ Ability to use a tape measure accurately.
+ Experience with inspection, loading, and packaging.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Ability to successfully complete the Machine Operator training within 3 months of hire.
+ Bi-lingual.

**Work Environment**
Work on the first shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) or second shift (3:00 PM-11:30 PM). Must be able to wear PPE on their face and/or arms for long periods of time.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pawcatuck, Connecticut.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50
