The Opportunity: The Production Worker will have a key role in the efficient distribution of our warehouse deliveries and arrivals. How you will impact Victory Packaging, a WestRock Company: \u2022 Handle pick tickets/orders from warehouse management/staff to pull items from warehouse inventory. \u2022 Use RF guns and other electronic equipment, as necessary. \u2022 Physically pulls warehouse items by the stated number, size, color, quantity, quality, etc. requirements. \u2022 Compare and inspect physical items pulled to the requirements of the pick ticket/order. \u2022 Pack/wrap orders as required by item/delivery type and prepares for shipment. \u2022 Transport orders to shipping locations/bins/docks using the proper material handling equipment. \u2022 Ensure that orders are staged correctly for each delivery. \u2022 Operate any material handling equipment following established safety guidelines. \u2022 Assist in maintaining the security and safety of the warehouse. \u2022 May assist in placing incoming items in inventory. \u2022 Agility to stand and walk for extended periods of time as a primary job responsibility. \u2022 Capacity to life and carry up to 50lbs intermittently during a typical work shift. \u2022 Observance to established safety guidelines in conducting physical work activity duties. \u2022 Participate in conducting warehouse inventory counts as required. What you need to succeed: \u2022 High school diploma or equivalent \u2022 One or more-year(s) experience coordinating shipments in a warehousing or distribution environment. \u2022 Ability to perform tasks under pressure, and within a deadline driven environment. \u2022 Ability to handle detail-oriented work to insure proper items and quantities are picked to arrive at customers in good condition. \u2022 General fluency in English required, verbal and written Smurfit Westrock (NYSE:SW) is a global leader in sustainable paper and packaging solutions.
