**Job Title: General Production Worker** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated General Production Worker to join our team. The role initially involves working in the rework department, where you will be responsible for adding a tube onto a part, deburring, sorting, and visually inspecting parts. This is a physically demanding position that involves bending, twisting, and standing for over 8 hours. After the initial weeks, you will transition to operating various machines, where you will load and unload parts, inspect them, and pack them for outbound shipments. You will be required to meet production rates and goals. **Responsibilities** + Add tubes to parts in the rework department. + Deburr and sort parts. + Visually inspect parts. + Load and unload parts on various machines. + Inspect and pack parts for outbound shipments. + Meet production rates and goals. + Assist other operators as needed. **Essential Skills** + 6 months of recent manufacturing experience. + Experience in the automotive industry. + Ability to lift 40 lbs. + Ability to stand for 8+ hours. + Longevity at previous jobs (6 months or longer at the past 3 jobs). **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Comfortable with lifting a 40-pound skid 3-5 times throughout a shift. **Why Work Here?** We offer great starting pay, opportunities for growth, dental insurance, health insurance, life insurance, vision insurance, paid time off, and an employee assistance program. The environment can be dirty and hot, especially during the summer months as it is not climate controlled. The position requires working Monday through Friday, with the possibility of overtime on Saturdays. Shift hours are from 6 AM to 2:30 PM for the first shift and from 3 PM to 11:30 PM for the second shift. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Roseville, Michigan. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr.
