Production Worker
**Job Title: 2nd and 3rd Shift Production Worker - Bellvue, OH** **START DATE: Tuesday Feb 4th** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Worker to join our team on the 3rd shift. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting automotive component parts for defects, trimming and packing parts, and completing necessary paperwork for defective parts. You will work closely with a team of operators to ensure quality and efficiency in our production process. **Shifts and Pay** + 2nd shift 3pm-11pm + 3rd shift 11pm-7am + Training will be on 1st shift for 3-4 weeks + Production is currently running 6-7 days a week **Responsibilities** + Inspect automotive component parts for defects as dispensed from the injection molding machine. + Inspect 50 parts per hour, each weighing under 5lbs. + Work with 1-4 other operators on the production line. + Trim components parts as necessary and prepare for packing. + Pack component parts according to packing specifications. + Assist with material changes as needed. + Complete paperwork for defective parts. **Essential Skills** + High school diploma or GED. + 1 year of manufacturing experience. + Experience standing for 10-12 hours at a time. + Experience using hand tools (hammer, knives, screw driver). **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Production, manufacturing, production line, hand tool, assembly, industrial, machine operation, power tool experience. + Forklift experience is a plus. **Why Work Here?** This is a contract-to-hire position with the opportunity for raises upon direct hire and after one year. The company has work booked out until 2027, offering job stability. The dress code is relaxed, allowing operators to wear shorts and t-shirts with closed-toe shoes in the summer. The company is a tier 1 supplier to Ford, providing a strong and reputable work environment. **Work Environment** This is a non-climate controlled environment that is very clean and bright. Currently, the team is working 6-7 days a week, but this is expected to reduce to 6 days after machine repairs. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.78 - $19.78/hr.
