Job Description
Rotate through production areas, as requested, which includes ensuring assigned production requirements are being met, making sure all parts are hit at production rate and quality, assembling all parts for various suppliers, visually inspecting all parts, reporting any quality issues on the line, reporting to work on time for pre-shift meetings, ensuring a safe working environment by observing safe work practices and following all safety policies and procedures, and performing detailed assembly operations to mass-produce automotive products.

Our facility is a union facility with great benefits, including a 401K match by 6 months. You will accrue PTO in your first year, although it cannot be taken until after one year (managers will work with the team for unpaid days off). Work Environment
This plant is a plastics assembly plant specializing in fascias and exterior plastics. You will mainly interact with the PM's and manufacturing personnel. The plant is clean but can get a little dusty at times. We will be launching another line in July for Chrysler and adding a third shift to our DS line responsible for the Ram & Wagoneer. There are ongoing rearrangements of the plant floor on the assembly line. The plant has five plastic injection machines, which are always running and performing 2-3 tool changes per day. Shifts are as follows: 1st Shift: 6am - 2pm, 2nd Shift: 2pm - 10pm, and 3rd Shift: 10pm - 6am, Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays and Sundays required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warren, Michigan.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $15.76 - $15.76/hr.
