**Job Title: Production Worker** **Job Description** This position is at a large manufacturing facility that primarily produces magnetic wire used in various industries such as automotive, residential and commercial appliances, energy, and industrial sectors. Candidates will be responsible for operating machines, storing finished products in the warehouse, performing quality inspections, and welding. The machines are mostly automated, and candidates must ensure they operate correctly according to customer specifications. Forklift certification will be provided, but previous experience or certifications are a plus. Candidates will use the forklift about 15% of the time. Candidates must be comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs, with heavier items moved using an overhead crane or forklift. Safety is a major focus, and this position offers significant career advancement and financial growth opportunities. **Responsibilities** + Operate machines and ensure they function correctly according to specifications. + Store finished products in the warehouse. + Perform quality inspections on products. + Handle welding tasks as required. + Operate forklifts for approximately 15% of the time. + Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines. + Participate in training programs to fully understand the production process. **Essential Skills** + Ability to work safely and without consistent supervision. + Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs repetitively. + Ability to work 12-hour shifts. + Open mind to being trained on a forklift. + Strong tenure at previous employers. + Ability to read, write, and understand written work orders in English. **Additional Skills And Qualifications** + Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or construction is beneficial. + Good soft skills and a willingness to be trained. + Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. + Ability to use hand tools and read blueprints. **Why Work Here?** This position offers career growth and financial growth, with pay raises every 4 months based on attendance. Shifts are 8AM-8PM or 8PM-8AM on a 2/2/3 schedule. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Franklin, Indiana. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.40 - $21.65/hr.
