**Production Worker - 2nd/3rd Shift** **Job Description** We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Production Worker to join our team on the 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing and be comfortable working with hand tools and standing for long periods. This role involves inspecting automotive component parts, trimming, packing, and assisting with material changes. **Responsibilities** + Inspect automotive component parts for defects as dispensed from the injection molding machine. + Inspect 50 parts per hour, with each part weighing under 5lbs. + Collaborate with 1-4 other operators on the line. + Trim components parts, if necessary, and prepare for packing. + Pack component parts according to packing specifications. + Assist with material changes as needed. + Complete paperwork for defective parts. **Essential Skills** + High school diploma or GED. + 2 years of manufacturing experience. + Experience standing for 10-12 hours at a time. + Proficiency in using hand tools (hammer, knives, screwdriver). **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Previous experience working in plastics manufacturing companies. + Experience with industrial and power tools. + Forklift operation experience. **Why Work Here?** This is a contract-to-hire position offering a stable career path with opportunities for salary increases upon direct hire and after the first year. Training for this position will occur on the 1st shift for 3-4 weeks. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.29 - $19.29/hr.
