Production Worker
We are a leading international manufacturer of pigment preparations, anticorrosive pigments, and organic and inorganic pigments. We are currently looking to add production workers to our team. Candidates will be responsible for pulling bags of powder to be processed to make ink dispersions. They will work off of batch tickets which specify the quantity of powder to be pulled for the Machine Operator. Additionally, candidates will be responsible for filling containers with the manufactured ink dispersions, ensuring accurate weight using a scale. Other responsibilities include moving products around the facility, sweeping floors, general clean-up, and assisting other departments as needed. Please review the information and if interested apply by submitting your resume with the best contact information so we can reach out and speak further about this opportunity and next steps. **Responsibilities** + Pull bags of powder for processing based on batch tickets. + Provide the specified amount of powder to the Machine Operator. + Fill containers with manufactured ink dispersions and ensure they are filled to the correct weight. + Move products around the facility. + Maintain cleanliness by sweeping floors and performing general clean-up. + Assist other departments during slow periods. **Essential Skills** + Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. + Capability to perform manual labor and remain on feet for 8 hours at a time. + Strong attention to detail for working with numbers and batch tickets. + 1+ years of related experience, preferably in the manufacturing sector. + Ability to read and write in English. + Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division). **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
