Production Worker
**Job Summary:** The Manufacturing Technician maintains and repairs machines, assists other departments, and collaborates with the Engineering Group on equipment upgrades. Receives instructions from the Supervisor via electronic transmission, verbal, or written communication. **Responsibilities:** + Follow national and international regulations. + Troubleshoot and repair high-speed manufacturing equipment. + Collaborate with the Engineering Group on equipment upgrades. + Verify inspection units, heats, pressures, raw materials, and machine operations. + Ensure personnel and machinery safety. + Perform scheduled and emergency repairs, preventative maintenance, and equipment improvements. + Set up production equipment and conduct quality checks before production starts. + Participate in project performance team meetings. + Perform other job-related duties as assigned. **Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:** + Requires gowning procedures for a controlled environment. + Work around high-speed machinery with safety precautions. + Use eye and hearing protection in high noise areas. + Physically demanding conditions during machine breakdowns. **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:** + Mechanical aptitude and experience in line operation and maintenance. + Hand-eye coordination for precise adjustments. + Attention to detail and physical stamina. + AA degree in a relevant field with at least 2 years of experience. + Knowledge of electronic controls, motor drive units, pneumatics, hydraulics, test and calibration equipment. + Blueprint/schematic reading and strong communication skills. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.75 - $23.05/hr.
