Job Description
Candidates will rotate through various production areas, ensuring production requirements are met while maintaining quality standards. Responsibilities include assembly of parts, visual inspection, reporting quality issues, and following safety protocols.
ResponsibilitiesEnsure assigned production requirements are being met.Make sure all parts are produced at the required rate and quality.Assemble parts for various suppliers.Visually inspect all parts.Report any quality issues on the line.Report to work on time for pre-shift meetings.Ensure a safe working environment by observing safe work practices and following all safety policies and procedures.Perform detailed assembly operations to mass-produce automotive products.Essential Skills1 year of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting.Experience working at a fast pace.Self-motivated and able to perform duties with minimal supervision.Ability to work well in a team environment.Working knowledge of basic hand tools.Additional Skills & QualificationsBackground in production and assembly.General labor experience.Basic computer skills.Why Work Here?
This is a union facility offering great benefits including 401K match after 6 months. You will accrue PTO in your first year, with the option for unpaid days off before you can take PTO. Uniforms are provided, and there is a long job tenure in the maintenance department with opportunities for training and growth from within.
Work Environment
This plant specializes in plastics assembly (fascias, exterior plastics) and is generally clean, though it can get a little dusty. You will interact primarily with PMs and manufacturing personnel. The plant is undergoing some rearrangements, including launching a new line and adding a third shift. The facility has five plastic injection machines which are frequently in operation, doing 2-3 tool changes per day.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $15.76 - $15.76/hr.
