Responsibilities 1st Shift - 5:30 am - 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday (overtime as business needs dictate) - One 30-minute unpaid lunch and two breaks. Now hiring Production Workers for our Ada, Oklahoma manufacturing plant to perform sewing and non-sewing operations as we convert specialty cut fabric into high quality turnout gear. In this role you will learn stitching operations and may also learn jobs in other areas as well. Stitching (Sewing Operators) Utilize a variety of industrial single needle, double needle and programmable machines to stitch one of over 100 operations needed to complete the turnout gear shell or liner. Every operator is responsible for the quality of their work and is expected to support their departmental team by learning at least two additional operations. Machine Operator roles (Snapping, Seam Seal, Automated Stitching, Trim) Ability to use and understand a ruler and measurements. Qualifications Required: 3 months minimum of sewing machine / stitching operation. If lacking minimum experience, we will train you and you will start through our temporary agency before full time employment. Background check, drug screen and pre-employment physical is required. Must be able to: stand stationary for 8 hours. walk unassisted for full shift. read, write and speak basic English. reach at or above shoulder height. perform repetitive tasks using hands, wrists, fingers, arms, shoulders. hear noises clearly with or without hearing support assistance. meet vision requirements - able to see up close fine details, small components and tools while performing sewing and machine operation) with or without vision support assistance. have good depth perception. able to lift and carry 1-25 pounds unassisted. work inside and around others. wear safety glasses for full shift and/or gloves if required for the task. work at a moderate pace. work proficiently individually and as a team. collaborate and communicate effectively, professionally and respectfully. perform routine tasks. assist in team lifting of approximately 30 pounds. Additional Requirements Preferred: Previous experience in Sewing, Manufacturing, Machine Operation, Assembly, Quality Control and Inspection desirable. High School Diploma or GED. #LI-MI1 #LI-Onsite
