Competitive Wages – The pay range is $24.71 to $32.95 per hour, but no less than the local minimum wage.
Starting rates will vary based on things like location, experience, qualifications, and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement. Additional premiums for swing and grave shifts are available. Dependent on length of service, hours worked and any applicable collective bargaining agreement, benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay (accrued based on hours worked), PTO/Vacation pay (accrued based on hours worked), paid holidays (between 7-9 days annually), bereavement pay, and retirement benefits (pension and/or 401k eligibility).What you will be doing
Primary job functions are to receive ice cream bars/popsicles from the machine chute and place either 6 or 12 bars (depending on packaging) on a moving conveyor and move 8 or 12 boxes of ice cream into a cardboard sleeve. Packers empty garbage and dispose of defective products, clean equipment at the end of the production run and rotate among packing positions.
Vacation Relief
Operator must be able to perform all job functions in a safe and productive manner. This person is responsible for adhering to all safety, quality and sanitation standards. Must be able to use basic math and accurately complete control paperwork clearly and in a detailed manner. Specific job duties include, but are not limited to, operating freezers, pumps, fruit feeders, check weighers, metal detectors, fork lift, pallet jack and other machines such as Banders, PMI, CVC, etc. to SOPS and to achieve performance targets. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to work in a team and willing to perform various functions out of regular scope or as assigned by a Supervisor. Employees may also be asked to participate on problem solving teams. Limited training will be provided, however applicant must have demonstrated prior competency in operating multiple positions in order to qualify.
Shifts Primarily Monday through Friday, swing shift primarily but possible day shift. Occasional OT as business needs required.

Previous experience operating machines/production equipment preferred but not required Ability to work overtime as needed Good communication skills Ability to work as part of a team
