In this position, you will be responsible for various entry-level tasks such as pulling product from the yard for production, replenishing lines with lumber, and assisting with the assembly of wall panels or trusses. This role involves manual labor and requires you to be on your feet all day. You will be lifting up to 75lbs occasionally and 30-40lbs consistently. **Responsibilities** + Pull product from the yard for production. + Replenish production lines with lumber. + Stand at the end of a saw, stack finished cuts, and prepare them for the line. + Assist with wall panel or truss production, moving products through the process to be cut and assembled. + Assemble custom wall trusses or roof or floor trusses. + Read blueprints. + Climb on and off tables. + Use hand tools and tape measures to assemble trusses and walls. + Work collaboratively with other team members. + Perform repetitive tasks, making the same truss or wall multiple times before switching. + Bend, stoop, squat, and reach at odd angles. **Essential Skills** + Ability to lift up to 75lbs. + Ability to lift 30-40lbs consistently. + Ability to read a tape measure (Must take ProveIt basic ruler test or paper ruler test). + Ability to work in a team environment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Previous construction experience (6+ months). + Strong tape measure skills (down to the 32nd). + Previous hand and power tools experience. + Experience in general labor, landscaping, roofing, unloading, warehouse, or production. **Why Work Here?** We offer plenty of opportunities for advancement, with most workers earning between 24-25 after a year or two. The facility is clean but space is tight, and you will need to be mindful of safety precautions and moving parts. You will be working directly with a team of 3-4 people. Essential items for your first day include a 22oz hammer, hammer belt holder, and steel-toed boots. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fremont, Nebraska. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
