**Job Title: Production Worker** **Job Description** We are seeking dedicated production workers to join our team. You will be responsible for working on the production line, installing wheelchair ramps in transit vans, and ensuring vehicles move efficiently through final inspection. This role requires flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. **Responsibilities** + Install wheelchair ramps in transit vans. + Work on the production line, ensuring a steady pace through final inspection. + Move to different sections of the production line to prevent bottlenecks. + Identify problems prematurely and address them to ensure completion. + Use a variety of power tools including bandsaws, circular saws, jig saws, routers, soldering irons, micro torches, drills, screw guns, utility knives, and air saws. + Read and interpret blueprints. + Work with chemicals as needed. + Track supplies and equipment, notifying the manager of inventory levels. + Adapt and learn new areas of the production line or new builds. + Train new hires in your area of responsibility. + Comply with core values and complete other duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Comfortable using a variety of power tools. + Ability to work independently and in a team. + Comfortable using a measuring tape. + Knowledge of reading blueprints. + Ability to work with chemicals. + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. + Strong problem-solving skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in mechanical assembly and upfitting. + Ability to complete production-related physical activities such as walking, standing, talking, hearing, pushing, reaching, seeing, stooping/crouching, and identifying colors. + Participation in company safety programs, trainings, and adherence to PPE guidelines. **Why Work Here?** We offer a supportive work environment with benefits starting after 30 days. The role involves working from 5 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kansas City, Kansas. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
