Job Title: Line Roller
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Summary Under General supervision, work on the production line as part of a team building homes, and perform quality work quickly in a safe and consistent manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
\u2022 Use torque pusher to roll home from station to station
\u2022 Sweep in between homes
\u2022 Sort recyclable materials
\u2022 Performs all manual labor in the area to which assigned
\u2022 Keeps area neat and clean
\u2022 Stock materials as needed
\u2022 Communicate quickly and concisely with coworkers
\u2022 Use hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools to assist production

\u2022 Must have a strong work ethic
\u2022 Must have the ability to work quickly and methodically
\u2022 Must understand and adhere to safety procedures
\u2022 Must have good teamwork skills

Qualifications
\u2022 Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
\u2022 Previous experience in manufacturing or manufactured housing desired.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and\/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and\/or move more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee will be working at a rapid pace with the production line. The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee may be exposed to precarious places and fumes or airborne particles.
Work Environment
The noise level in the work environment is usually loud due to the rapid fire of pneumatic tools, scaffolds being moved up and down, forklifts emptying dumpster, horns being used prior to moving homes and other environmental noises throughout the production area. Hearing protection and safety eyewear are required in the production areas.
