Job Description
Wheatland Tube located in Warren, OH has full-time entry-level Production Worker positions available. This is a great opportunity for candidates who have manufacturing/light industrial experience and basic mechanical aptitude such as carpentry, general construction, farm equipment, automotive mechanics or any other type of mechanical or electrical skills.
Production Responsibilities Include:
Ensuring proper safety procedures are followedMaterial handlingOperation of mobile equipmentOperation of production equipmentWorking with hand and/or power equipment in a manufacturing setting
Required Skills/Abilities:
1+ years industrial experience strongly preferredProven mechanical & mathematical aptitudeUncompromising commitment to safetyAttention to detail, dependability, professionalism and a great work ethic are required for these positionsAbility to work shift workSolid work history, references requiredMinimum of High School diploma/GED requiredSuccessful completion of a post-offer hair follicle drug test, physical and background checkRegular, full-time, predictable onsite attendance per the posted schedule is an essential function of this roleLead and promote health and safety work practices as required by regulatory agencies and company policy
Physical Requirements:
Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 poundsMust be able to walk or stand at least 80% of shift
