Productivity Specialist (Full Time) - Mississauga, ON

Primary Purpose

The Productivity Specialist will be responsible to implement the Projects for the Distribution Packaged Gas Business in Linde Canada and actively support the Ass. Director for Logistics.Support in the implementation process of the Logistics Intelligence Center. The Productivity Specialist is responsible for working with the operations and business teams to optimize the distribution logistics, control costs and take the necessary actions to support future growth. This position will work with the operations leadership to implement and control KPIs, identify and implement projects to improve distribution efficiency and cost. This position requires a high level of collaboration with operations and business. Communication skills and capacity to connect with a great spectrum of roles is a necessary skill.Be expose to senior management team presenting the initiatives and projects.Critical thinking, prioritization capacity, holistic and systemic view and a relentless focus on productivity are essential qualities for this position.

Key Accountabilities

Lead the implementation of logistics solutions for process optimization.Works closely with business and operations to drive cost down and improve service level. Review KPIS related to distribution, reporting performance to local leadership and Transportation Compliance Team to foster a strong safety culture within the fleetAchieves financial and operational productivity gains by continuously optimizing operations and finding effective ways to both reduce costs and enhance operational performance.Works with Operations and Business to meet cost and performance targets.Support to the transformational best-in-class projects and digitalization. Proposal of Solution to complex problems; takes broad perspective to identify innovative solutions to systemic issues working in a collaborative fashion with multiple internal and external agents.

Required Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, transportation, economics, business administration, project management, industrial engineering or a similar field

Experience

3 years of experience in supply chain, Logistics, distributionBlack Belt or Productivity management backgroundDigitalization tools preferred

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

Proven ability to design and execute a supply chain strategyAnalytical skills to drive KPI control and projectsTechnical and applied understanding of logistics software and systemsDemonstrated leadership skills.Lean Black Belt Training PreferredStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence required.Strong prioritization skills based on metrics and data-driven decision making.Experience in Compressed Gases and Cryogenic Liquid Business preferredMust be willing to travel 25 to 40 % of the time.
