Join our R&D group as a Senior Formulation Scientist and you will be required to develop consumer-centric products, particularly in the consumer health care, over-the-counter (OTC), topical skin care and OTC patch development sectors. This role requires a deep understanding of consumer insights to drive the creation of products that meet and exceed customer expectations.

Main responsibilities:
Formulation Development: Lead the creation and enhancement of formulations using bench work and DOE principles, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and quality guidelines.
Consumer Health Care Product Development: Develop OTC, topical skin care, and OTC patch products, utilizing scientific expertise and adhering to OTC monographs.
Consumer Insights Integration: Collaborate with Consumer Insights to align formulations with market trends, consumer preferences, and feedback.
Project Management: Oversee multiple projects from concept to pilot scale, ensuring alignment with timelines and budgets while working with cross-functional teams.
Innovation and Trends: Incorporate cutting-edge technologies by staying informed on scientific advancements and industry developments.
Regulatory Compliance and Testing: Ensure formulations meet all regulatory standards through stability, efficacy, and safety testing, with comprehensive data analysis and reporting.
Mentorship and Teamwork: Mentor junior scientists and interns, foster teamwork, and support collaborative problem-solving in a diverse and inclusive work environment.
About you
Advanced degree in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, or other Healthcare Science from an accredited college required.
Required experience: B.S. with 5+ years, M.S. with 3+ years, or Ph.D. with relevant industry experience.
Experience in formulation development within consumer goods, consumer health care, pharmaceuticals, skin care, or OTC patch industries.
Strong understanding of consumer insights and their application to product development.
Proven ability to manage complex projects and collaborate in cross-functional teams.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in communication and presentation.
Commitment to working within and fostering a diverse, inclusive team environment.
Proficiency in relevant software and analytical tools; willingness to travel overnight up to 15%.
