Key member within the UK Distribution function – ensuring that our partners are supported along a smooth logistics journey by using a mix of analytical, communication and strategic thinking skills in the day-to-day operations of our Distribution House (DH). Owning end-to-end tasks, optimizing operational efficiency, leveraging best practices alongside our 3PL provider, and driving service excellence for Under Armour customers – whilst maintaining in-line with financial expectations.
Your Impact Key owner end to end tasks for the logistics function. Monitor DH performance against contractual obligations. Attend & contribute to Monthly & Quarterly Business reviews with our UK 3PLs. Present in regular meetings with DH Operations; sharing availability projections, outlooks on inbound performance, priorities and expectations – with prior alignment with the Manager, UK Distribution. Scorecard reviews – weekly roll up of performance against SLA’s; root cause and action plans for any areas of concern. Inventory – monitor cycle count completion/accuracy; monitor quality issues and ensure proper disposition of defective product. Foster and maintain an effective business relationship with internal (Logistics, Planning, Sales, Finance, Commercial) and external stakeholders and relevant accounts. Build and maintain a good relationship with 3PL partner by regular visits in DH. Support tasks within other functions of the EMEA Logistics team (Transportation, Trade Compliance & Inbound).Qualifications Bachelor’s degree with typically 2 years of related experience or Masters degree without experience or typically 6 years of relevant experience without degree. Prior experience within SAP ERP Service Oriented: Enthusiastic, positive, professional, and pro-active service minded attitude. Results Driven and Ambitious: Motivated and strives to achieve team and personal goals. Problem Solving: Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner. Interpersonal Skills: Working with a range of stakeholders and be open to ideas and flexible to change. Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills; attentive listener. Good Organizational Abilities / Prioritization: Follows policies and procedures; knows how to effectively prioritize demands; completes tasks correctly & on time. Be flexible in a fast-paced environment: Ability to stay calm under pressure and handle multiple tasks autonomously. Think Strategically: Able to implement new way of working, able to think about mutual profitability, think with a purpose and translate this into an achievable and profitable action. Have a commercial & process mindset be able to see the bigger picture and understand the business priority & needs. Be confident with process, systems and be able to translate commercial strategy into operating model and supply chain solutions. Strong knowledge and understanding of end-to-end logistics activities. Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills. Experience with SAP and basic knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems. Workplace Location Location: Remote, UK, GB & Within Committing Distance to Logistics Provider Travel: 25% | 1-2 Days per week to UK Distribution House and/or Logistics Partner locations. Licenses/Certifications: UK Driving License.
