Professional Affairs Coordinator

Position Summary:

The Professional Affairs Coordinator will provide administrative and data management support at the direction of the Associate Director, Professional Affairs.  This will include surgeon onboarding, data entry, data verification, and various administrative support requests. The individual will assist in providing both internal and external surgeon support and must insure timely responsiveness and resolution to all related issues.  The ability to work and coordinate projects between internal departments is required.

Essential Functions:

Manage all Consulting Request Forms for Surgeon Educational events (US and International)

Input surgeon contract details (type/expiration date) in MedCompli

Set up internal employees in MedCompli with the correct permissions in order to submit requests/invoices

Be the point person for MedCompli functionality issues or change requests

Maintain surgeon profile set up (new consultant and existing consultant updates)

Process Clinical Research payments upon request

Assist in obtaining and tracking surgeon banking forms through accounting portal

Assist with the drafting of Peer to Peer Case Observation agreements

Obtain information for surgeons upon request (i.e. royalty payments, consulting payments, 1099 forms etc.)

Manage Accounting codes and Need Assessment numbers across all systems

Prepare surgeon reports for the Compliance Department upon request

Identify and communicate process improvement opportunities

Assist the Legal Department with Conflict of Interest reporting

Assist with the Fellowship payment processing

Support the department with various administrative functions

Adheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies.

Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role.

Represents the company in a professional manner and upholds the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree preferred (minimum Associates degree in business related field)

Minimum 2 years corporate experience. 

Experience with contracts in a legal environment a plus

Performs advanced tasks with high level of detail

Strong verbal written and communication skills

Strong interpersonal skills

Exceptional organizational skills

Ability to work independently and within a team environment

Exceptional time management skills

High proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
