Job Title: Professional Land Surveyor

Job Description

We are seeking a Licensed Survey Office Manager who will oversee survey field crews and manage the entire process from acquiring new projects to delivering completed plans. This role includes responsibilities such as approving timesheets, client interactions, and business development.

ResponsibilitiesManage and direct all field and office activities.Schedule and prepare plans for construction stakeouts.Support closing and legal departments with property descriptions, as-built surveys, topographical surveys, and field surveying.Ensure production moves forward by plotting drawings and managing residential construction staking.Interact with clients and participate in business development activities.Essential SkillsLicensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) or Registered Land Surveyor (RLS) in the state of Georgia.5-10 years of survey experience.Proficiency in AutoCAD and Carlson software.Experience with Geosyntes and LiDAR in the field.Familiarity with residential subdivision layout and plot plans.Knowledge of survey equipment and other survey software.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with drone, aerial mapping, and LiDAR technology.Experience in site improvement stakeouts, boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and ALTA/ACSM surveys for residential and mixed-use developments.Work Environment

You will be working in a full-service land surveying and engineering company that operates nationwide, supporting residential, commercial, apartment living, and city living teams. The office is located in Alpharetta, GA. The role involves a mix of land development, home building, and residential construction staking projects.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $55.30/hr.
