Job Title: Professional Land Surveyor
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Licensed Survey Office Manager who will oversee survey field crews and manage the entire process from acquiring new projects to delivering completed plans. This company specializes in surveys for high-end luxury home builds. This role includes responsibilities such as approving timesheets, client interactions, and business development.
ResponsibilitiesManage and direct all field and office activitiesSchedule and prepare plans for construction stakeoutsSupport closing and legal departments with property descriptions, as-built surveys, topographical surveys, and field surveyingEnsure production moves forward by plotting drawings and managing residential construction stakingInteract with clients and participate in business development activitiesEssential SkillsLicensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) or Registered Land Surveyor (RLS) in the state of Georgia5-10 years of survey experienceProficiency in AutoCAD and Carlson softwareExperience with LiDAR in the fieldFamiliarity with residential subdivision layout and plot plansKnowledge of survey equipment and other survey softwareAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience with drone, aerial mapping, and LiDAR technologyExperience in site improvement stakeouts, boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and ALTA/ACSM surveys for residential and mixed-use developmentsWork EnvironmentYou will be working in a full-service land surveying and engineering company that operates nationwide, supporting residential, commercial, apartment living, and city living teams. The office is located in Alpharetta, GA. The role involves a mix of land development, home building, and residential construction staking projects
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $55.20/hr.
