Job Title: Professional Land Surveyor

Job Description

An architecture and engineering firm is searching for a professional land surveyor (PLS) with experience in boundary surveys and plats to lead a team of four field crew members. This role involves 80% office work and 20% field work. The PLS will have access to GPS, robotic mobile stations, and drones. Office responsibilities include researching boundary data to determine boundaries, creating subdivision plats in Civil 3D, creating records of survey, and coordinating field crews for fieldwork and staking. A demonstrated history in understanding deed timelines, determining gaps/overlaps, awarding property overlaps, and examining legal documents for property line determinations is required. Projects are primarily located along the Wasatch Front from Logan to Spanish Fork.

Preferred to be full-time in the office from 8 am to 5 pm, with flexibility for creative schedules (e.g., 36 hours Monday to Thursday, 4 hours on Friday) and a flexible start time of plus or minus one hour from 8:00 am. Those who occasionally work from home will be assigned a laptop. The role offers stability in an AE firm with a preference for in-office presence. The firm values working with engineers and provides a stable environment, having not laid off an employee since 2007. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.07 - $62.50/hr.
