What the day will look like The EMD will lead change within Aon Facultative Casualty area and operationalize growth strategies, while supporting a united approach of collaborating with business leaders across all solution lines to deliver distinctive client value to clients. Financial As a senior professional, makes a significant contribution to the success of the company through financial impact of revenue contribution, strategic growth of a product or enhancement of the company’s professional image and expertise. Responsible for crafting and completing an innovative 3–5-year growth strategy plan. Uses key business parameters to evaluate efficiencies. Looks beyond basic metrics to think strategically when making business decisions; evaluates the wider organizational impact of decisions beyond the short term. External Viewed as a key client manager; receives high client satisfaction results by achieving clients’ reinsurance placement goals and leads team to do the same. Conduct relevant business discussions with c-suite executives. Builds and maintains effective working relationships with clients and reinsurers. Demonstrates problem solving techniques and is recognized as a solution provider for sophisticated client issues. Sets realistic expectations and timelines with clients to produce results. Adheres to Aon processes and procedures and all quality service requirements to deliver outstanding client value. Internal Drives revenue growth; communicates growth targets and collaborates with broking teams on delivery, through a combination of organic and inorganic strategies. Acts as a mentor to broking professionals and develops people to maximum potential. Delegates clear and strategic objectives to the team; and holds people accountable for the outcome. Inspires a growth-oriented mindset; drives and supports a shift from servicing broker to production broker. Fosters and promotes team approach to both internal and external business relationships. Contributes to the development of a strategic and thoughtful talent strategy to attract, retain, develop and reward top talent; ensures there is a robust pipeline of junior level talent; and actively supports and promotes D&I. Champions leaders to promote and deliver on positive colleague experiences. Builds a culture that embraces change, new procedures, processes and directions. Generates stronger connections between other areas in Aon to leverage improved cross-sell and up-sell opportunities. Skills and experience that will lead to success Minimum of 15 years of proven industry experience. Strong financial competence with tactical execution of a 3 to 5-year strategy plan. Formal experience in leading and building large impactful teams. Success with leading and influencing senior executives and holding them accountable to deliver on established long term strategic goals and short-term financial results. Exceptional interpersonal skills with capability to interact with major clients to cultivate and maintain positive relationships. Strong market presence within the broking industry. Able to lead teams to deliver the highest in client service, quality, and results. Ability to embrace and inspire change in support of the business growth strategy. Professional and positive demeanor, high EQ, and excellent listening skills. Bachelor’s degree required. CPCU or ARE designation or progression towards is preferred but not required. Pay Transparency Laws: The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $300,000 to $350,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
