The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $88,400 - $132,60 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills

Tasks and Qualifications:

What You will Do In This Role:

Complete the design of complex systems that integrate hardware and software. Complete complex material specification, schematic preparation and appropriate follow-up. Complete recommendations for ideas related to productivity improvement, cost reduction and improvement in customer satisfaction. Perform complex technical interchange and knowledge transfer for both processes and application of products to system design. Identify and resolves more complex problems and applies problem-solving skills to deal with most situations. Perform modifications and upgrades. Complete project schedules and budget for mechanical engineering functions. Lead multiple projects. Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines within a project team. Perform project engineering and commissioning at customer sites. Communicate, trains and works with customer for final system design. 

What We Are Looking For:

Requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or closely related field and five years’ experience as a Mechanical Engineer or related occupation in the material handling automation industry.

Requires three years’ experience with CET Maestro; Amazon-specific installation types (sortable, non-sort, AR, IXD, SSD, Air Hub);

3 years experience with legacy equipment (Tube Sorter, Slat Sorters, Mechanical Sensors…);

3 years experience with current commercialized conveyor catalogue (Transportation/Accumulation, Slat Sorters, Crossbelt, MDR…);

two years’ experience with Autocad; Amazon-specific MTBH and rates associated with typical systems and sub-systems; Amazon design specifications; and project-based work (design to installation).
