Professional Practices Analyst (Hybrid)
**Work Arrangement/Location: This will be a hybrid position requiring in-office work multiple days each week and will be based in the Buffalo, NY, Bridgeport, CT, or Wilmington, DE office.** **Overview:** Responsible for the execution of various efforts across Professional Practices programs in the Internal Audit division– talent management, training development and delivery, reporting, and occasionally methodology and / or quality assurance. **Primary Responsibilities:** Effective Talent Management Practices + • Independently execute assigned tasks to build learning solutions, organize departmental resources, and generate reporting for various audiences, adhering to department and professional industry standards in support of Professional Practices strategy. + •Deliver training content for various audiences using pre-established framework. + Directly communicate with various levels across the Audit Division. This position does not engage in risk-based audit engagements but instead supports Professional Practices initiatives. + risk controls in accordance with Company or regulatory standards and policies. Compliance/operational• Adhere to applicable + Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand. + Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators, as applicable. + Organize and complete work within established budget and timeframes under direction of a supervisor. + Consider opportunities for the use of data analytics throughout all aspects of the Professional Practices program. + Demonstrate support for the department’s strategic objectives. + Complete other related duties as assigned. **Education and Experience Required:** + Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting, Business, Finance, Technology, Cybersecurity, Mathematics, Statistics or other related technical field and 2 years of relevant work experience. In lieu of degree, a combined minimum of 6 years higher education and/or work experience including 2 years of relevant work experience. + Effective oral and written communication skills. + Experience with public speaking and/or training delivery + Effective oral and written communication skills. + One to two years of training & talent management experience, ideally within banking/financial services or public accounting. + Strong analytical and organizational skills. **Education and Experience Preferred:** + Related professional certifications (CPA, CIA, CISA, CAMS or similar) + MBA or Master’s degree in an appropriate field + Financial Services Industry experience preferred \#LI-RS1 M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees.
