Professional Project Manager
Delta Global Staffing, a wholly on subsidiary of Delta Air Lines Inc, has an immediate opening for a HR Project Manager in Atlanta, GA In this position candidates will direct the overall management, administration and implementation of the Human Resources activities specifically Employment, Benefits, Compensation, HRIS, and Equal Employment. Provide leadership, planning, and management of the human resources function and assess and anticipate Human Resources-related needs   ·         Direct the overall management and administration of the human resources programs. Plan, develop, and implement the strategic human resources goals and objectives. ·         Direct the interpretation of established personnel guidelines to ensure fair and consistent application. Review and evaluate all personnel guidelines, programs, and practices to keep the abreast of current practices and informed of new developments. ·         Maintain overall supervision of recruitment, placement, and employment outreach programs. ·          Responsible for administration of wage and salary programs and structures, and for performance appraisal programs. Ensure that compensation program for salaried and hourly employee is competitive, equitable and in keeping with its compensation philosophy and negotiated agreements. ·         Direct the planning, development and administration of employee benefits programs. ·         Direct the equal employment opportunity/affirmative action, and contract compliance programs. ·         Ensure the compliance with government legislation, management directives and that required reports are submitted to the appropriate agencies in a timely and complete manner Specific Experience: ·         Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Personnel Management or related field. Master’s degree desirable. ·         Minimum five (5) to ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in the management/supervision of Human Resources activities and functions. ·         Directly related experience may be substituted for formal education. ·         Extensive and in-depth knowledge of Human Resources and Equal Employment Opportunity policies, laws and regulations. ·         Excellent interpersonal, management, and communication skills.   SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to work extra hours when necessary. Some travel may be necessary.
