Summary:

The Professional Recruiter schedules and conducts interviews, conducts reference checks, and extends offers of employment for positions as assigned. This position will support the employment function by acting as a resource person for employees and applicants regarding open positions, selection processes and general HR information. Other special projects will be assigned as needed.


Experience/Education Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in business, human resources or related field required.
• Master's degree a plus.
• Two years of human resources experience preferred.
• Previous healthcare human resources experience preferred.


License/Certification Requirements:
• PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP preferred.

 

Responsibilities:
Processes and interviews candidates, complying with all RHC policies and local, state and federal laws.Processes position requisitions and processes all applications, resumes and internal job transfers.Sends correspondence for recruitment and follow-up regarding interviews.Utilizes applicant tracking system to track applicant and statistics.Administers pre-employment testing as required, checks references, verifies all licenses/certifications.Attends recruitment fairs.Partners with departmental representatives specific to fair and follows up with candidates.Conducts exit interviews and relays information to department leaders, HR and Administration.Continually improves automation of employment function utilizing current technology available.Develops and utilizes recruitment strategies.Coordinates events as required.Files employee records in personnel files.Manages criminal background check process.Offers candidates positions, schedules lab work, completes hire paperwork and schedules candidates for orientation.Participates in RHC's recruitment and retention team and completes projects as requested.Places job advertisements with newspapers, college placement offices, professional newsletters, Internet and other sources.Ensures expenditures are tracked appropriately.
