Professional Sales Training Specialist

This role will maintain material related to O’Reilly’s company branded Real World Training program for technician, business management, and emerging technology. The Professional Sales Training Specialist will also ensure that all markets can support training initiatives and develop processes that increase the program efficiency.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Maintain and upload classes to the company training website.

Work with outside vendors and internal departments to coordinate travel, training class locations, and other necessities.

Create and maintain field training PowerPoints and all related training materials and documentation.

Assist in all aspects of sales management development including creating itineraries, attendance reports, and participating in training as necessary.

Utilize Domo for training reports and communicate findings to leadership.

Answer phones and serve as support for the field team.

Respond to inquiries and emails related to the training program. Email field teams regarding class attendance and registration.

Fast Track Training module creations and maintenance of current modules

Oversee and maintain company branded Real World Training program, website, and all related training materials and documentation.

Create and maintain related training spreadsheets that detail critical information such as dates and costs associated.

Create flyers as needed.

Input and update Real World Training information on the company intranet.

Respond to inquiries and emails related to the training program. Email class headcounts prior to start dates.

Assist with administrative tasks within the department as necessary.

All other duties as assigned.

SKILLS/EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES

Required:

High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Proficient Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Knowledge of the automotive industry

Desired: 

O’Reilly store or similar retail experience

Technical training or schooling
