Professional Services Consultant
Professional Services Consultant Job Description: In this highly Customer-interactive role, the Professional Services Consultant will be required to be technically minded and willing to expand on current knowledge and maintain an expert-status in a fast-moving environment. Sage Expert Services is a dynamic organization with demanding clients. The Consultant must be highly motivated and have a pro-active approach, possessing an excellent understanding of software implementations and knowledge of the Sage application assigned. The Consultant will quickly develop a deep knowledge of Sage application assigned. They will be able to support the Customer in enabling the Sage application to meet their business needs. This will be accomplished by expanding on standard capabilities within the Sage application. In addition, they will play a key role in data repair, data migrations and upgrades relating to the Sage application. Key Responsibilities: • Assess and comprehend the customer's objectives to determine the necessary services. • Identify gaps and propose solutions, while providing technical and application expertise. • Deliver key change, data conversion, data recovery, and file fix services. • Provide the highest level of customer satisfaction and expertise to ensure our customers and partners maximize the investment they have made. • Identify opportunities for additional Sage Solutions and Expert Services that would benefit the customer. • Help build the reputation of the Expert Services Team to achieve the quality, profitability, and Customer referenceability that Sage requires. • Work with internal teams to collaborate, drive prioritization, analyze and resolve issues (including escalations), resulting in the highest level of client satisfaction. • Track and communicate status and resolution to clients and Sage colleagues in a factual, professional, timely and consistent manner. Skills, know-how and experience: • 3-5+ years of consulting, account management, project management, escalation management, or Sage 300 CRE customer support experience. • Demonstrated superior customer service, including the ability to set expectations, communicate clearly, confidently, timely, and respectfully with customers. Executes with a sense of urgency, meeting requirements with minimal lead time. • Ability to respond effectively to multiple conflicting priorities, continuously prioritize and reprioritize deliverables to respond to unexpected changes. • Ability to effectively communicate ideas to all audiences, including high-ranking executives, controllers, accountants and data-entry staff. Preferred Skills: • Experience and knowledge of the Sage 300 CRE database structure • Sage 300 CRE functional knowledge • Experience with Sage Support Tools • MS Access knowledge Perks?
